Adopting Nickel in CodeCommons
The CodeCommons project had a complex architecture with multiple services and a plethora of configuration formats and files that are often filled in via ad-hoc templating. This made for complex maintenance and hard to discover bugs. In this blog post, I describe how the Nickel configuration language could be used for great good in this context and tell you about our experience adopting it.
